To celebrate their first birthday in the most appropriate of ways, Theatremakers are hosting Music Theatre Jam: Birthday Bash.

Brisbane-based company, Theatremakers, will perform Music Theatre Jam: Birthday Bash on Wednesday the 17th of August at the New Globe Theatre, Aurélie Roque, focuses on celebrations and simply having a good time.

“I was literally walking through the Valley one day, after work, and I dropped in ‘the Globe’. I met with Paul and came out with an event in two months time,” James Gauci, one of the founders of Theatremakers, said.

“I didn’t know what it was going to look like but I had a concept, which was to get a bunch of people in a room and sing songs, and after putting on the first Music Theatre Jam we knew it was a really good thing.”

At Music Theatre Jam: Birthday Bash, audiences will have the opportunity to win a large array of prizes, from professional headshot sessions to theatre tickets and even massages.

The line-up of performers includes Josh Daveta, Kristyn Bilson, Sara Brown-Kenyon, Connor Clarke, Hannah Flannery, Laura Fois, Xanthe Jones, Jack Kelly, Stevie Mac, Samara Marinelli, Dana Musil, Jessica Kate Ryan, Zachary Denman, Susan Stenlake and William Toft, as well as some special guests.
