Kupka’s Piano are to present Singular Vectors: A Chris Dench Portait Concert, the final performance as part of the ensembles 2016 Season at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts on December 2.

This ambitious portrait concert of Australian composer Chris Dench, will showcase music from across his career and feature many unique musical genres including everything from renaissance polyphony to jazz to modern science.

Early solo works such as Vier Darmstadter Aphorismen and Tilt, as well as recent works such as Permutation City, will be brought to life on stage by the local ensemble and will each present a unique snapshot into the multi-directional development of this fascinating composer.

Singular Vectors will also showcase two incredible premieres, an Australian Premiere and World Premiere that was commissioned especially for the ensemble.
